Easter is soon upon us and one of the ideas that I had for this Easter is to make a small collection of permanent DIY Easter eggs. They would be used by us at home, but we’ll also share them with friends and family. That’s at least how things are done in the Heidi family household. Googling around I found an neat little tutorial on how to create shabby chic eggs on the cheap.
Permanent DIY Easter eggs
Full tutorial can be found over here. The end product isn’t anything flashy, just the way I like it.
As you can see, these are shabby chic eggs. They are cheap to make. All you need is a plastic egg. They can be had for as little as dollar for a set of 6 from any dollar store. Other supplies needed are a piece of string, some glue and patterned strips for the middle. That’s where you can get creative and do pretty much anything you want. I will get Grace to take a few photos of the end product of our own little DIY project and have them posted in the photo gallery. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this little DIY tutorial.
